Geoff & Vicki Toomby run a small herd of commercial cattle at Wonderland Station, about 32 km’s north-west out of Townsville City, North Queensland, and deliver skills development clinics and industry-based training programs on-site and at various locations across North Queensland and the Northern Territory.

Familiar faces throughout the region, Geoff & Vicki have been opening their gates, and travelling across the top end helping others through skills development and industry-based training programs, as well as providing their own unique and internationally recognised T.E.M.T, Toomby Equine Muscular Therapy, Consults and Treatments.

Geoff’s extensive experience working with horses and livestock in the bush and Vicki’s inherent knowledge and understanding of horses and hauling livestock, provides a truly unique learning experience from two of the industries well-informed, experienced trainers.

WHAT WE DO

We are passionately dedicated to caring about the future of the rural industry and helping others through our skills development and industry-based training programs.

Within our Horsemanship Clinics, the skills development programs, participants are provided the opportunity to learn the skills, knowledge and techniques uniquely developed by Geoff and Vicki from a life-time of working experiences, competitions and every-day life with horses. Whether it’s developing, re-establishing or strengthening horsemanship skills, our guiding principles of mutual understanding and respect will provide both humans and horses a whole new way of working together.

We offer a safe learning environment on our working cattle property to help others develop the skills and knowledge needed to: safely commence their careers in the rural industry through our Rural Training Programs; and, better understand the life skills to help in all areas of their lives through our Skills4Life Programs. By adapting the guiding principles of our horsemanship training, the mutual understanding and respect, and through the power of animals, we’ve seen many graduates change their way of thinking, improve their opportunities and make better choices in all areas of their lives.
